I went to business school and had a lot of success in the consulting world in my early career. I knew this was not where I wanted to be in the long term, but didn’t quite know what to do next. After working with Sean, it became crystal clear that my strengths were being utilized, but I could apply them to a passion I’ve always had. I entered into a Master’s program at Yale University with a double focus in business and Health Policy. I plan to continue working in consulting, but focus on an industry I am very passionate about, universal health care.

12/8/2014 0 Comments Michael L.I worked in the Sales organization of my company for years. There were areas that I excelled at, but I knew that Retail Sales was not where I wanted to be in the long term. Without exposure to other areas, I didn’t know what position to ask for next. After working with Optimal Future, I realized that leading teams and taking ownership of major projects are some of my greatest strengths. My results from the MBTI testing gave confidence to tell my superiors that I wanted to be in product management and can back up my request with specific strengths and personality type results.

After working with Optimal Future, I fully understood that I was missing the opportunity to be more creative and expressive with my work. I decided to go back to school for an MBA, and also to join a new company based in Canada. I’m now working in Consumer Marketing, giving me more control over the end product.
